Foresighting future climate change impacts on fisheries and aquaculture in vietnam

The Vietnamese fisheries sector, including both marine and aquaculture, has made spectacular progress in recent years, becoming one of the top seafood producing exporting countries world. Looking forward, development goals this sector must address challenges associated with climate change, changing distribution commercially important species such as tuna disruptions to land-based aquaculture production systems. This study investigates prospective change impacts on Vietnam's focusing four key commodities capture (tuna), freshwater (pangasius catfish tilapia), brackish water (shrimp). extent impact varies, but represents a potentially significant threat sustainable each system. Producers, policy makers, other stakeholders need plan for adapt ensure sector.
